Well hi, hello, good morning, good afternoon, good evening to you!
Wherever you are at this very moment, I would
like to say to you,
“You Are Loved...and it is going to be ok!”
Maybe you are in a season of life that is difficult to go through.
Maybe you have had a hard time adjusting to the colder weather.
Maybe there has been a time of grieving over a loved one that is no
longer with you.
Maybe you just don’t know what direction to take and you are standing
at a crossroad - not sure if you should take a left or a right.
Maybe you feel defeated and unable to withstand the waves that seem to
be crashing all around you.
Maybe it is just what I had been feeling.
Maybe all you and I need to hear is “You are loved and it is going to be ok.”
Just being real and open and honest with you and myself here:
I’m sure we can all say that this time of year, when the leaves change
and fall festivities come, it means life gets a little busier than normal! That is the truth. Life has been a little bit busier. There have been some major things happening
in the midst of life for James and I.
Some things that I am learning to embrace and other things I have not come
to understand. Not that I have to know
and understand all things, because God says “do not be anxious about anything, but
in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your
requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will
guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6 & 7). I
am just embracing that truth for my life in this very moment. I will remain strong in Him. I will not let anything (that lies, cheats,
or tries to destroy life) come prancing in and take hold of my mind &
heart. I have a strength that is not my
own, but from Him who is greater. Another
truth from Psalm 46:1 & 2 says, “God is our refuge and strength, an
ever-present help in trouble. Therefore
we will NOT fear.”
Life…we all know it will never slow down. Let’s just take a second, breathe, and
repeat, repeat, repeat. I don’t want to appear
like I have all of my things in order, ‘cause I don’t. We don’t.
I don’t think any of us can have everything in order ever.
If someone out there does, please send me the
instruction manual for that! ;)
Let us be real! I’m choosing to
be real and be ok when things are a little messy in life. Just take one day at a time…one moment at a
time. Let’s be honest with one another. Let’s be real with one another.
The only thing fake going on over here are these faux leather shoulder
patches on my shirt. That’s the truth! J
SO.........Good Morning. Good Afternoon. Good Evening, friends.
You ARE loved and it IS going to be ok.
Romans 8:28
“And we know
that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been
called according to his purpose.”
Blessings to you!
